 An enjoyable drawing and painting workshop to help improve your portraiture skills. Using pencil, watercolour and paint you will learn a variety of techniques and tricks to produce convincing and realistic portraits in one day! The workshop is open to all abilities and levels of experience.

Kim Gibson –  Soft sculpture brooches £30

28^th January 11- 4pm

Learn how to design and make your own Felt Brooch, this will include teaching embroidery stitches such as Running Stitch, Blanket Stitch and Chain Stitch, which can be used to enhance each individual brooch. All materials including embellishments are provided.

Simon Palmour  -  Black and white photography £30

4^th February 10 – 4pm 

During the day we will cover: what makes a good photo, tips and guidelines, portraits, landscapes, abstract, candid shots. Taking shots [a practical session], editing [using Adobe Lightroom software], printing / exhibiting.  What to bring : Digital camera [fancy SLR not essential], your best photo, and a favourite shot.
